Lucy preps for a photo moment… Rick Bonari demonstrate the “EZ-Robot” kit. It has Computer vision, sonar, voice recognition, WiFi camera, and many more features! Awesome demo! Listening to Laura’s presentation… Chris Stone explains how this 3D printed submarine will be part of the school’s underwater ROV rescue challenge. The student will use their class-built ROV to retrieve (rescue) this submarine model from the bottom of a deep pool. Watching Rick Bonari’s demonstration about his programmable robot! Listening to Laura’s demonstration… Doyle’s Remote Operational Vehicle (ROV) simulator. It allows a programmer to code for all the motors, controllers, lights, relay, and communications, then test the results in real-time! This prototype uses the PS2 wireless controller which communicates with an Arduino UNO. The Arduino then sends Serial data using RS485 protocol over 4,000 feet to the ROV’s on-board Arduino for motor/thruster control. This code is available for free to anyone interested!
